Furniture Placement

Here's a peek at some of my favorite space-planned living rooms!

What a great way to make a narrow space work! I'm guessing there's a tv mounted on the wall we can't see...

Area Rugs define a space... perfect example.

 Classic. Love it.

Oooo la la! A Conservatory with some beautiful windows!

I love everything about this room! The rich colors in the artwork pull it all together.

Doesn't this space make you want to snuggle up on the sofa?

 Modern touches...

 Pretty accents in aqua blue

 Love that fun hair-on-hide rug!

white, white, white... I'm guessing this person doesn't have kids (or a dog)! ;)

Photos

Recently,  I have found some great ways to display photos!! Check out these fun ideas!

Who needs a headboard?! Just use framed pictures... :)

I love this look, but I couldn't do this in our house. It would drive me crazy if/when the frames weren't perfectly straight!

 Incorporating letters... love it!

A clean look... on a canvas.

On a landing in a stairwell... LOVE.

 Our Master Bedroom...

Potterybarn, of course! :)

Lighting Love!

One of my favorite things to do is to look for design inspiration! I thought I would share some neat lighting I have come across lately...

What a funky bathroom fixture!

Love, Love, Love the new "drum shade" pendant style!

I've been trying to think of where one of these can work in our house;)

Wouldn't this light be pretty in the entry of a cottage-style or lake home?

I like the lantern style!

I like these pendants for a mission-style kitchen...

 Another one of my favorites...

from Potterybarn, of course!

UH - MAZING! :)

Lincoln Parade Homes Part II

Time is passing quickly, and the parade is about ready to wrap up! Word is, there has been a lot of interest and hopefully some offers will be made by the weekend! I took some final pictures and wanted to share the finished product. I am so happy with the way they turned out.

Enjoy...

I LOVE this little tree! It has twisty/twirly branches. It's so cute!

I was so mad at myself for forgetting to take a close-up of this backsplash! It turned out so neat!

 Finished Basement...

It has two large bedrooms and a bathroom!

This home is on the same block as the Parade Homes. Ted also built this house! He is such a great builder. His attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is so evident when walking through his homes. And, he is so wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend him if you're ever considering a new construction home.
