Key Ring Card Holder!

I absolutely LOVE this idea!

If you have a ton of extra cards in your wallet (other than your drivers license and bank cards) you can punch a hole in the corner and keep them on a key ring that you toss in your purse. Library cards, gym card, shopping cards, all together but not taking up space in your wallet! Brilliant.

Nick and Sarah's Wedding Weekend!

Congratulations to my cousin Nick and his new wife Sarah! They were married this weekend at the First United Methodist Church in Sioux City, and the reception was at Dakota Dunes Country Club. It was a beautiful day, here are some pictures of their special day... :)

New Recipe Love!

I have another delicious new recipe that I wanted to share! My mom made this last weekend, at first I wasn't "sold" on the recipe (when looking at the ingredients), but WOW, it was SO YUMMY! Here it is...

Little King's Salad

Salad:

2 bags of lettuce

1/4 lb. salami

1/4 lb ham (my mom used turkey)

1/3 lb big eye swiss cheese

2 tomatoes, chopped

1/2 onion, diced

1 green pepper, sliced in rings

1 loaf french bread, torn in pieces

Cut the salami, ham and swiss cheese into strips. Add the lettuce, tomatoes, onion and green pepper. Right before serving pour the dressing over the salad and mix in the bread.
Dressing:
1/4 C tarragon vinegar

3/4 c oil (we didn't use this much, more like 1/2 c, if that)

1/8 tsp pepper

1/2 t salt

1/4 tsp diced oregano

1/2 tsp garlic

June (Huston's Mom) was making him a turkey sandwich, Huston asked, "Where does turkey come from". June said, "a turkey". Then he said, "does ham come from a hamster"? :)

Easton Fisher Lewis

Today, my cousin Jessica gave birth to a sweet little bundle of joy! He was born around 1:00 this afternoon, weighing 7 lbs, 1 oz. Can you believe all of that beautiful, dark hair?! Congratulations on your new little family!!

Gift Wrap LOVE!

My LOVE for gift wrap ranks right up there with my love for fingernail polish. :) When it comes to these two things, I have oodles and oodles of them... in all colors. I LOVE wrapping gifts! Here are a few fun photos of some creative ways to wrap gifts. Enjoy!
