Ralph On A Ring!

When I heard Home Depot was discontinuing Ralph Lauren paint, I got a little sad b/c their wonderful colors were no longer going to be available. So I rushed my heine over there and snagged one of every single color of each paint sample on the display! I must've looked a little crazy to the people working in the paint department, but once I explained what I was doing they reassured me it wasn't that wacky of an idea! :) I single-hole punched each sample and put them on a ring (in case you're wondering, that's how I spent most of my weekend, lol!) So, now I have every RL paint sample and can easily have them color matched!!!
If you're painting your home, I suggest you take advantage of their sale! ALL RL paint is 50% off (great deal)! And the quantities are dwindling down so act quickly if you want to take advantage of that offer! I would if I had any painting to do. :)
I have the cards and there is no need to panic (I am probably the only spaz that would panic about something like this). Now you know who to call if you're looking for one of their great colors (like the pretty red my mom/dad have in their house). :)

BRIX!

My great friend Christy and I tried out Brix on Friday night! It's a huge store at Village Pointe stocked with any wine you can imagine! You can spend as much ($100+) or as little ($7) as you'd like on a bottle. They also have all kinds of different beer, mixed specialties, etc.
It was very busy when we were there but eventually we were able to get a seat at the wine bar where you can have a glass of their "tap" wines for $5! We also ordered a cheese plate! It was a really neat experience!

As you can see above they have a little something for everyone, even wine ice cream! :) I didn't have any but heard it was pretty tasty! I highly recommend Brix! It would be a good place to get a gift for someone who loves wine as well. :)

McDonald's Hot Chocolate!

After hearing advertisement after advertisement for their new (all real chocolate, no powder) hot chocolate, I gave in and tried it today! I'm not a huge fan of their coffee so was a little reluctant to try the hot chocolate but much to my surprise it was actually pretty good! On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 8. :)
Many of you may be wondering WHY I have not been posting "personal" pictures and thinking my social life must be really boring. ;) Well actually I have had a ton of stuff going on lately and the truth is I can't figure out our computer! For some reason I have had major difficulties downloading pictures. So sorry but the generic internet pictures will have to do until I get this silly computer figured out! :)

My Talented Friend KatieJo!

I wanted to do a quick advertising "plug" for one of my great friends, KatieJo! I know many of you saw our Christmas card picture of Wilson carrying Santas hat, she did them! :)
Not only does she do photography, but also business cards, invitations, photo books, etc. She is super talented and very reasonably priced! She comes highly recommended by me!

Fun Times With Christy and Molly!

My good friend Christy (to see her cute blog, scroll over her name and click) and her dog Molly visited Wilson and I on Monday and we made dog treats! We had a blast! Once we got all of the crazy ingredients figured out (rice flour, carob chips, powdered milk, etc) and after a trip to Whole Foods to purchase the crazy ingredients they turned out a success!

I LOVE this picture! Aren't they cute?!?

The recipe made 3 cookie sheets of treats! Enough for Wilson and Molly PLUS all of the dogs in our neighborhood!! haha!

Skiing at the Lake!

This weekend my parents came to check out the cabin, mom and I decided to take advantage of all of this snow and do a little cross country skiing! The conditions were great, we had a good time! And of course Wilson had the time of his life playing with Max too!

Happy 2nd Birthday Wilson!

On Tuesday Wilson and I celebrated his second birthday! As you can probably just about imagine it was a bit difficult to take pictures of this excited pup with his birthday cake. Here's my best attempt...
On his very BEST behavior, couldn't wait for a bite of that cake!

Peanut Butter Cake w/pb frosting from 3 Dog Bakery, Wilson's favorite!

Lovin' every last bite!

Snowman Kit!

I think this snowman kit is so fun! It would be the perfect holiday gift for a family (especially if they have kiddos)!
The kit includes: A top hat, scarf, buttons, painted rocks and of course a carrot nose!
A cute drawstring bag to hold all of the goodies...

And a tag to explain what it's all for!

This would make a fun gift for a winter birthday too!

The PINK outfits we got for Madelyn! SO fun!
Tim's sister, Jenny and her husband Ross welcomed their new baby into the world on December 26th! Madelyn Lou weighed 7 lbs, 7 oz and she was 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well, and she is beautiful!

And I Thought Our Other Storm Was A Blizzard, HA!

I think the lights on each side of the garage prove how windy it was!! Funny!
Look at all of the SNOW!!
The tiny path for the sidewalk!

So you'll notice a couple of weeks ago I had a post titled, 'Blizzard 09.' Oh, if I only knew what was to come!!! haha! Here are some pictures of the REAL blizzard of 2009! :) It was so bad we couldn't even make it home to Laurel for my family Christmas! It's okay, we'll just have to celebrate a week later...

Wobig Christmas 2009

Dinner and Lights Downtown!

Linden Estates

The Old Market
Gene Lahey Mall, Downtown

Tim and I celebrated our little Christmas on Tuesday! We had dinner downtown at the French Cafe, checked out the lights in the Old Market area (so pretty), then on our way home took a detour through Linden Estates and were "wow-ed" by the homes decked out in Christmas decorations then we went home and opened our gifts! It was a fun evening! :)
