Our New Grill!

My trusty little BBQ grill that I had in my very first Omaha apartment had seen its better day and eventually (last week-ish) stopped working. So...

ta da!

Off to Lowe's we went, and came home with a new Charbroil Grill! We love it! We've grilled lots of steak (Tim) and chicken (Katie), potatoes, etc. It's great, and it fits perfectly on our little stone patio!

Eeeeeekk! Sometimes I browse through my computer files and I don't even know where to start when it comes to sharing ideas (insert organized mother-in-law, lol)! Ha! I don't know if she (Deb) does computer files, but she helped us SO much when we moved into our house!! :) After browsing, I decided to show some fun baby shower ideas... fun stuff! Enjoy!

I made these little "pacifiers" for my sister-in-law's baby shower. Made out of a wintergreen breathsaver and a jelly belly!

Some people aren't so into games... so, this would be a fun activity you could do instead. Everyone is asked to take a few letters of the alphabet (provided, with crayons) then, an alphabet book is put together for the baby! LOVE this idea!

Also, instead of a game... have guests write down advice, a thought, well wishes, etc. for the mother-to-be. Share the thoughts, then put together a little book as a keepsake for her.

Pretty sure this picture was also a birthday, but I need to find a tutorial on how to make those GREAT tissue poms!! I'm dying to know!

The Weekend!

Tim had guard this weekend, so there was no better way to spend it than with friends and family! Friday I got to spend some much needed time with my mom! We did a little shopping then went out for dinner. And Saturday it was such a beautiful day so Wilson and I headed up to the lake and spent some time there! Saturday night I headed out with some great girlfriends for dinner, bowling and go carts! It was a blast! And we wrapped up the weekend with a visit to the dog park and some yummjy chicken and potatoes on the new grill!
